Wisdom Horse World Beat Newsletter - October 2011
Welcome to the new look of our newsletter! We've put news about our three target markets--Business Leaders, Midlife Women and people wanting to become EGE practitioners--in three separate sections with the intention of making it easier for you to read.
In addition, look for a tip each month in the Horse Wisdom: Tips for Conscious Living on the left. It features new and practical perspectives to becoming your best, most authentic self. The horses can always help with that!

We traveled the world during May - from Scotland to England to Prescott, Arizona to Orlando, Florida. We thought you might like to hear a bit about those trips where we met fabulous horses and people.

Stories are how we remember. We tend to forget lists and bullet points.

Often we go along in life believing old, outmoded stories. To grow in awareness it's useful to find ways to rearrange our habitual stories. Horses help us do this. First our body has the experience, then our mind puts it together, wants to put words to the experience, make meaning of it. Working with the horses through EGE activites helps us see old patterns of living and try on new ones.
Telling the story keeps the learning alive. Never underestimate the power of sharing your transformational moments with the horses.

Resources, resources, resources. We are delighted to be the wellspring for so many great things for your professional and personal development!
As we have mentioned before, Wisdom Horse is expanding our coaching services to include individual executive coaching as well as personal coaching for spirited midlife women.
Coming up we have an executive coaching demonstration with the horses, new teleclasses and a winter retreat at a beautiful Arizona ranch. See details below.
We also have marketing guidance from Beth Woodward at Marketing on the Playground (see article on right), and a Grow Your Coaching Business class from Mentor to the Coaches, Cheryl Leitschuh.

November reminds us to give thanks. It is a time to enjoy good friends and share bounteous food! Whether it be turkey or tofu, savor the tastes! Hopefully we can all appreciate the benefits life offers us (including good food), but true thankfulness emanates from being in a conscious state.
From early on in our lives we were told to say "Thank you" when we receive a gift. We here at Wisdom Horse Coaching know we have been given many gifts. We would like to take this opportunity to mindfully thank you, our clients, customers, and colleagues, and savor all the good things you bring.

Autumn is upon us. The leaves are a beautiful blaze of oranges, reds, gold, and yellows. Nature is preparing us for its long winter with a party of colors! Take some time to really look and enjoy. This is a wonderful time to plan and prepare for what is next.
Planning is happening everywhere for holidays and celebrations. Don't forget to plan also, for time to reflect. It's easy to let that get away. And reflection essential to navigating change and remembering center.
