Wisdom Horse Coaching (TM) Newsletter Equine Guided Education for Leadership and Life June 2006 Greetings! Welcome! In this issue you'll find the first of a 3 part guest article with tips for how to successfully market your equine assisted business (or any business for that matter). And one important note: Our Horse Wisdom For Busy Women workshop is already HALF FULL as we go to press. Check out the side bar to the right. We use Constant Contact to manage our subscriber list. You may want to tell your security software that it is OK to receive these emails from us (ann@wisdomhorsecoaching.com). In this issue Balance for Busy Women Workshop Taking Registrations! Marketing for Equine Professionals. Do You REALLY Believe? What We are Up To Marketing for Equine Professionals. Do You REALLY Believe? Our tip this month comes in the form of a 3-part article by Beth Woodward, Chief Executive Kid of Marketing on the Playground. Beth has been instrumental in helping US get clear about a marketing strategy that is easy, fun and WORKS! Part 1 What’s it like to have a passionate business? How can you bring together those ‘ready’ clients with your beloved horses? Where is it you can’t seem to connect? Whether it’s not knowing what to say or simply not feeling comfortable with marketing, the end result is still the same. No clients – No business! It’s difficult to pioneer a theory and approach when it’s not familiar to the mainstream person. I GET IT! I don’t have a horse, nor does it fit into my life of owning one. But I have the next best thing. I know several Equine Assisted Professionals and have experienced the absolute wonder of connection and direction between me, (an issue in my life) and a magnificent horse. No matter what your expertise with your horse, when it comes to connecting clients to a deeper level of themselves, giving an “experience” is the key. Why do I really get this? I left corporate to become a Professional Life Coach. Even though we have become more known to the public, it was and still can be, difficult to get the message across with what we do. That’s why “experience” is a must with what you do so it gets into the prospective clients’ body. My Equine Guided experience was an awakening about my leadership. For others, it may be a spiritual awakening and more. No matter what, your clients need to get a taste of what it’s like before stepping into the arena. (pun intended) There are two HUGE points I would like to recommend when it comes to your Equine business. BELIEF A SHIFTING EXPERIENCE Let’s talk about Belief first. I’ve had my business since 1999 and really pinpointed my niche of Marketing “MY WAY” in 2001. Belief—That flicker of light inside of me, is what carried me through. All of those doubts from other people really knocked me down in the beginning. But look, I’m still here. It’s because I had a belief so strong that no one was going to stop me. I didn’t have all the answers, but I knew I just had to keep offering my program because I could help so many people. This is called “True Belief.” Please join me for part 2 of 3, Marketing for Equine Professionals in the next WHC newsletter. What We are Up To We are very pleased to have had full workshops for both Busy Women and Busy Leaders in April and May. We continue to be awed and inspired by the insights people receive from the horses and the action they are able to take in their lives as a result. For both workshops we offered an optional followup coaching call. Those who took advantage of it found it very powerful to represence and deepen their experience with the horses. On June 6 Aquaries Media did a video shoot of us and 7 volunteer participants which will result in a 5-7 minute marketing video and clips for our web site. Our gracious participants not only had great insights from the horses, but got their chance at the big (well not that big) screen! We are looking for writers who want to spend a Saturday working with the horses to: Find your authentic voice Trust your deep knowing Give voice to the stories that satisfy your soul Tap into the wisdom of the horse One Saturday 10-4:30, (date to be determined) in August Hudson, WI $175 Call Lynn, 612-823-7022, for more info.
